SUMMARY OF POSITION
IREX seeks a temporary on-site coordinator for its Hague Reporting Project. The Coordinator arranges with contacts in Bosnia Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, and Macedonia for journalism participants to travel to The Hague for the purpose of reporting from the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. Coordinator assists the journalists with navigating through the ICTY, transportation to/from the airport, and provides administrative support for the program including writing program update reports and closing down the program when it ends.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • International study, work, or living experience;
  • Excellent English language skills;
  • Working knowledge of 1 or more Balkan languages preferred;
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel; and
  • Current holder of Schengen visa (if Balkan citizen) preferred.
